Newsletter Q4 2025 published: Anniversary edition marking 25 years of BGE TEC

The fourth issue of the BGE TEC Newsletter 2025 has been published, marking the conclusion of the anniversary year celebrating the 25th anniversary of BGE TECHNOLOGY GmbH.
This edition includes contributions on current research and development activities, including the KI-Stoff project on AI-assisted calibration of material models and the KerWerk research project on ceramic materials as potential container solutions.
A further focus is the review of the period from 2019 to 2025. During these years, significant methodological advances were achieved and repository concepts for all three potential host rocks were further developed. At the same time, international cooperation was expanded through various projects and partnerships.
In addition, the issue includes a report on the anniversary symposium held in November 2025, which brought together experts from academia, regulatory bodies and international partner organisations.
This issue completes the four-part anniversary series reflecting on 25 years of BGE TEC’s development.
